With campdraft outings, trail rides and previous experience in mustering and ranch sorting on her résumé, this lovely stock horse mare is ready to join a new team.
Frankie is 13 years old and approximately 14.5–15hh (unmeasured). She’s gentle and responsive, with a good stop, and is best suited to a confident intermediate rider or above.
After more than 30 years out of the saddle, I’ve been rebuilding my riding confidence and Frankie has been a lovely horse to help me do that. We understand she was also ridden occasionally by a teenager in her previous home.
She’s easy to catch, float, tie up, rug and handle for the farrier and dentist. She’s in good health, with her farrier and dental care up to date.

Frankie is taking applications for her new person.

Our handsome Will has Doc Freckles Oak bloodlines and is looking for a kind, patient and experienced person to take him under their wing, continue his education and eventually give him a job to do.
Born in 2016 and approximately 14.5–15hh (unmeasured), Will has been started with a trainer, developing a soft mouth, following the rein and backing up in response to pressure. His trainer noted he was becoming more relaxed in his work, with foundations to build on.
He has since been paddocked and remains very green, so will need restarting and consistent training to further his ridden education.
Currently enjoying life in happy paddock condition, our chestnut boy is a good doer and good to catch, rug, wash, tie up and float. His farrier and dental care are up to date.
We’d love to find him someone who has the time, experience and patience to help him take his next steps.

Born on our farm on Boxing Day 2023, Check is our handsome chestnut Quarter Horse × Thoroughbred gelding with a fun, cheeky personality. He’s smart, a quick learner and not afraid of much.
His sire carries Doc Freckles Oak bloodlines, and his dam is Cold Shoulder (Breeze), by Not A Single Doubt out of Arctic Silver (NZ). His breeding brings together an appealing mix of working horse and performance bloodlines.
Stylish, strong and in excellent paddock condition, Check is unbroken and ready to go to school.
He would suit an experienced person looking for a smart young horse to educate with future competition or a working role in mind. With his strong build, confidence and willingness to learn, he’s an exciting prospect for someone who enjoys bringing a young horse along and giving him a job to do.
He floats and rugs well, is good for the farrier and has good feet. His feet and teeth are up to date.
Check has a sarcoid near his right stifle, which we have been treating with cream supplied by our vet. We haven’t noticed it causing him discomfort or affecting his movement.
Born and raised here, we’d love to see Check find a kind, patient home where his cheeky personality will be appreciated and his education given the time and care it deserves.

Arnie is a lovely chestnut Thoroughbred gelding with a curious, nosy personality. Born on 16 August 2017, he is by When Bells Clang out of Touch A Tatt.
Arnie has some quality Thoroughbred breeding behind him. His grandsire Clang was a Queensland champion stallion whose progeny included Group 1 winners, adding a lovely bit of racing history to Arnie’s family tree.
He’s broken in but still green under saddle. He has opened gates and been on a couple of trail rides, but he hasn’t been ridden since March 2024 and will need to be brought back into work.
Arnie is looking for an experienced person who enjoys working with green horses and can give him regular riding and continued education. We feel that, with time and consistent work, he has the potential to become a lovely kids’ horse to ride around the paddocks and go out on trails in the future.
Arnie loves water and is quite the character. He enjoys playing in his water trough and will even take himself for a swim in our dam.
He’s good to rug, and his teeth and farrier care are up to date. He isn’t a fan of getting onto the float, but he travels well once he’s on.
His paddock buddy is Frankie, and we’d love to see them stay together if the right home comes along. We’re happy to discuss Arnie’s price if someone is interested in both horses.
Arnie is has never been raced or trained to race.
